Fall 2011
As I sit here to write this winter is now upon us. The air is cold and the snow has come.
Hippophile Farm is ready for the WInter. We are offering some specials for our local riders here on Madeline Island. Lessons for all new riders and beginners to the farm are now being offered for $20. This is for 1/2 hour lessons and includes lesson horse, tack and instruction. Remember riding is a great way to chase away the winter blues.
Other news: Hippophile Farm is making plans to travel to Ocala, Fl for the month of Feb & March. We are planning on staying at BREC South. We hope to work with hunter/jumper instructor Robin Fairclough from Top Brass Farm with our work over fences with Giselle HF. If all goes well we are looking forward to debuting Giselle in some over fence classes at HITS Ocala!
Chance will also be traveling to Florida for the winter. I hope to be competing in some Dressage and also maybe some over fence classes. I am looking forward to the sun and some very productive training time in Florida.
New for next summer we will be hosting a Yoga & Horses Retreat. Please check it out @
